Young Shishyans Excel at SGFI Wrestling State Championship
The SGFI Wrestling State Championship was held from October 23 to 26, 2025, at the Kshir Sagar Kusti Arena, Ujjain (M.P.), and was organised by Shri Vidyasagar School, Ujjain. The championship witnessed impressive performances by the Under-14 Shishyans, who showcased strength, technique, and determination.
Ayush Thakur (Class VI D) delivered a dominant performance and secured the Gold medal, emerging as a state champion in his category. Himanshi Thakur (Class VII A) displayed commendable skill and resilience, winning a Silver medal and earning well-deserved recognition. Aarya Pandey (Class VI D) also represented the school with confidence and competitive spirit, contributing to the team’s overall presence at the state level.
The school applauds the young wrestlers for their dedication and outstanding efforts, and wishes them continued success in future sporting arenas.
