A Grand Opening to the Intramural Sporting Season 2026–27

The Intramural Opening Ceremony and Inter-House Swimming Competition 2026–27 was conducted with great enthusiasm at The Shishukunj International School, North Campus on Wednesday, July 15, 2026  at the Swimming Arena. The ceremony marked the official commencement of the school’s annual intramural sporting events. It began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an invocation and a vibrant cultural presentation. Addressing the gathering, the Principal inspired the Shishyans to uphold the values of discipline, dedication, teamwork, and true sportsmanship before formally declaring the Intramural Meet open. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses: Devi Ahilya, Dhyan Chand, Kalam, and Lata Mangeshkar, whose members displayed remarkable confidence and competitive spirit throughout the swimming events. Under the guidance of the sports educators, the participants exhibited exceptional talent, determination, and fair play.

At the conclusion of the competition, Dhyan Chand House emerged as the Overall Champion, Lata Mangeshkar House secured the Second Position, and Devi Ahilya House claimed the Third Position. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, celebrating sporting excellence and healthy competition.

Investiture 2026–27: Marching Towards Excellence

Leadership finds its true meaning in the ability to inspire and serve, a spirit that resonated throughout The Shishukunj International School, North Campus, as it celebrated its Investiture Ceremony on Monday, July 6, 2026. The occasion marked the induction of the Student Council for the academic year 2026–27 and was graced by the School Management, Heads of School, educators, proud parents, and Shishyans.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising wisdom and integrity, accompanied by a mellifluous performance by the school choir that elevated the solemnity of the moment. Newly elected council members were adorned with sashes and badges, affirming the trust placed in them. The Oath of Office, administered by Principal Ms. Aparna Magee, underscored their pledge to serve with sincerity and dedication.

In her address, the Principal urged the young leaders to embrace humility, uphold values, and inspire through action, reminding them that leadership is measured not by authority but by vision, courage, and service to others. With heartfelt wishes, the school community congratulates the newly elected council and looks forward to their journey of responsibility and excellence.

A New Milestone in Sporting Excellence: Inauguration of the Gymnastics Arena

The Shishukunj International School, North Campus added another milestone to its sporting journey with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Gymnastics Arena on July 1, 2026.

The programme began with the traditional lamp lighting, followed by the inauguration of the arena by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Sudhira Chandel, Director & Head of Physical Education, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, in the presence of the Management, Principal, Heads of School, mentor coaches, and Shishyans. Welcoming the gathering, Principal Ms. Aparna Magee highlighted the school’s vision of fostering physical fitness, discipline, resilience, and sporting excellence through world-class infrastructure.

The audience was enthralled by a spectacular gymnastics presentation in which young gymnasts exhibited exceptional agility, balance, flexibility, and coordination. In her address, Dr. Chandel lauded the school’s progressive initiative and encouraged students to pursue sports with dedication, describing it as a powerful medium for character building and lifelong learning. The ceremony concluded with a shared resolve to nurture future champions.
