Shishyans made a remarkable impact at the 54th MP State Aquatic Championship 2026, held from May 30 to June 2 at Mihir Sen Taran Taal, Rewa, under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Swimming Association. Displaying exceptional stamina, technique, and competitive spirit, the young swimmers delivered an outstanding performance against some of the finest talent in the state.
Harmish Negi of Class X showcased remarkable endurance in the pool, securing two Gold, three Silver, and three Bronze medals across freestyle and relay events. Equally impressive was Viha Thakur of Class XII, who emerged as one of the championship’s standout performers. Competing in both Junior and Senior categories, she amassed an extraordinary collection of eight Gold medals and one Bronze medal, demonstrating versatility across freestyle, backstroke, and individual medley events.
These accomplishments are a testament not only to the dedication and perseverance of the swimmers but also to the unwavering guidance of their coaches and mentors, whose expertise and encouragement have played a pivotal role in nurturing their potential.
