The Shishukunj International School, North Campus, organised the Inter-House Folk Dance Competition for the Shishyans of Classes VI–VIII on Monday, August 31, 2026, with great enthusiasm, celebrating the rich cultural diversity and vibrant folk traditions of India.

The competition witnessed spirited performances by all four Houses. Lata Mangeshkar House presented the lively Bihu, Kalam House captivated the audience with the colourful Garba, Dhyanchand House showcased the vibrant folk traditions of Rajasthan, while Devi Ahilya House enthralled the gathering with the energetic Punjabi folk dance.

Each performance reflected meticulous preparation, cultural authenticity, coordination, and the enthusiastic participation of the Shishyans. The performances were judged by Mr. Devendra Khare and Ms. Kirti Mishra, who assessed the participants on various aspects of presentation and performance.

The Vice Principal, Ms. Pallavi Sukhtankar, declared the results and felicitated the winning Houses. Kalam House secured the First Position, followed by Lata Mangeshkar House in Second Position and Dhyanchand House in Third Position. The event concluded with a celebration of talent, teamwork, and India’s rich cultural heritage.
