The ever expanding world of Digital Technology can now help us with anything and everything. It reduces the time taken for long and tedious repetitive processes by simply automating the process. This is how the industrial revolution had come to be.
Digital technology now helps us in all areas of life, from long distance communication to availability of information, from critical surgeries (where the doctor might not even be physically present) to everyday recreation.
Digital technology can be most efficient in reducing paper-pushing and corruption in government offices and the bureaucratic sector. When all allotment and use of money is automated, chances of corrupt individuals siphoning off the money during transaction becomes very slim indeed.
Large corporations benefit by connecting its various international or interstate/city branches. In addition to being faster and easier, digital technology also limits the possibility of error due to human negligence or mishandling. Apart from worldwide connectivity through emails and social network, there are initiatives / apps that can provide real time updates and suggestions to farmers about their crops.
Going digital has the added advantage of saving paper. Emergency calls to the police, the fire brigade, have become a easy.
