To celebrate Monsoon, the Shishyans of Classes I and II enthusiastically participated in a Wet-on-Wet Watercolour Painting activity based on the theme Monsoon. The activity introduced children to the Waldorf wet-on-wet painting technique, where colours were applied on a damp sheet to create soft, flowing, and blended effects without using pencil outlines.
The young artists explored their creativity by painting beautiful monsoon scenes filled with clouds, rain, birds, umbrellas, and nature. The activity enhanced their imagination, fine motor skills, and confidence while encouraging free artistic expression.
The celebration was colourful, engaging, and enjoyable, leaving the Shishyans with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for art and the beauty of the monsoon season.
