The Shishyans learnt about her contributions, including building roads, wells, water tanks and rest houses, supporting farmers, traders, women and people in need, and building and restoring temples and ghats. They also learnt about her connection with Rajwada, Indore, Maheshwar, and the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, as well as her contribution to the Maheshwari handloom tradition.

The significance of Devi Ahilya Utsav in Indore was also discussed, helping the Shishyans understand how her courage, kindness and service are remembered and celebrated.

Circle Time – Reflecting on Her Values

For Nursery to Class 2, the reflection activity was conducted through Circle Time, where the Shishyans discussed the values they could practise in their daily lives to be kind, helpful, honest, brave and responsible, while respecting others and caring for their school, city and country.

For Class 2, the reflection was further reinforced through a Wordsearch and a colouring activity featuring Devi Ahilya Bai.
