‘Where there is care, there is healing’

The Pre-primary section of The Shishukunj International School North Campus celebrated ‘National Doctor’s Day’ on July 1, 2026 across varied learning spaces. Through a series of fun, age-appropriate activities, children learned about the importance of health, care, and the healing touch of doctors.

The activities included exploring various medical equipment from the school’s infirmary, viewing a specially curated PPT  on varied duties and specialties of doctors and video on the importance of doctors and what all these everyday heroes do for our good health and safety. Children beamed delightfully clicking pictures at a cheerful selfie booth with props like doctor’s coats and first-aid kits.

All the Shishyans of the pre- primary crafted heartfelt cards with crayons, stickers, and poster colours for their beloved paediatricians.

The key takeaways of the day’s activities were that our youngest learners discovered that doctors are everyday heroes who deserve our appreciation, nurturing a deep sense of empathy and curiosity.
