Friendship is not just about being together, it is about caring, sharing and growing together.
The students of Junior KG Daffodil and Iris presented a delightful and meaningful assembly on the beautiful theme of ‘friendship’. The assembly was filled with cheerful performances, thoughtful messages and heartwarming moments that celebrated the joy of having friends and the values of love, care, trust and togetherness.
The assembly began with a warm welcome, setting a joyful tone for the programme. This was followed by the word, thought of the day, and some interesting facts about friendship, sharing simple and meaningful thoughts about what makes a friendship special.
A charming skit by the students of Junior KG Iris brought the theme of friendship alive through a simple and engaging enactment. The children showcased how friends help, support and care for each other.
Adding rhythm and energy to the assembly, the students of Junior KG Daffodil presented a lively dance performance celebrating the happiness and togetherness that friendship brings.
A particularly special moment was the welcome of Krishna and Sudama, who are celebrated as one of the most beautiful examples of true friendship in Indian tradition. Their bond reminded us that true friendship is built on love, trust and affection.
The assembly was a wonderful learning experience for our young learners. Through their confident participation and joyful performances, the children beautifully conveyed the message that a true friend is someone who makes our journey happier, kinder and more meaningful.
Friendship Day Greeting Card Making Activity ( I & II )
The Friendship Day celebration was joyfully observed by the Shishyans of Classes I and II through a heartwarming Greeting Card Making activity on August 1, 2026. The young learners created beautiful borderless drawings and thoughtfully designed colourful greeting cards for their friends. They penned heartfelt messages expressing kindness, gratitude and the true spirit of friendship before exchanging their handmade cards with their classmates. The activity nurtured creativity, imagination and artistic expression while encouraging meaningful communication, empathy and the values of sharing and caring. The classrooms were filled with smiles, warmth and the joy of celebrating the special bonds of friendship, making the occasion truly memorable.
