Folk dance is a timeless interpretation of life; a type of communication. To bring in our children an appreciation of the richness of Indian culture, an Intra Class Folk Dance Competition was organised on Saturday, 20 August for the 5th graders. Young Shishyans captivated the audience with their graceful moves and melodious music. The thoughtful choice of song and careful amalgamation of native steps in the choreography were appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. The thunderous applause was a true, unfiltered acknowledgement of the effort and boosted the morale of the performers.
