‘Reading is to the mind, what exercise is to the body.’

The young learners of Senior KG (Sections Coral and Opal) took center stage for their very first assembly. Embracing the beautiful theme, ‘Books Are Our Best Friends,’ the children brought the magic of reading to life.

The assembly opened with a warm welcome, setting a bright tone for the morning. This was followed by a thoughtful ‘Thought of the Day’ that emphasized how books enrich our lives. Radiating confidence, the students articulated the ‘Word’ and ‘Sentence of the Day,’ showcasing their growing vocabulary and public speaking skills.

The highlight of the morning was the main presentation. Budding speakers from both sections took turns sharing fascinating facts about books. They threw light on how reading expands our knowledge, transports us to fantastical new worlds, and helps us grow into better learners.

Adding a burst of rhythm and energy to the event, the talented students of Coral and Opal performed delightful dance routines to foot-tapping melodies, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.

The assembly was a resounding success, enjoyed by students and teachers alike. It served as a wonderful first step in encouraging our little ones to step into and appreciate the captivating world of literature.
