Van Mahotsav 2026 was celebrated across the Foundational and Preparatory Stages through a series of engaging experiences that inspired young Shishyans to appreciate, protect, and preserve nature.
The youngest learners, Nursery and Junior KG Shishyans, explored the wonders of nature through vibrant art activities using leaves, handprints, earbuds, toothbrushes, and other natural elements, fostering creativity alongside fine motor development. Senior KG Shishyans deepened their bond with the environment through nature walks, poetry recitations, doodle art, and themed paper crafts depicting the different parts of a tree and their significance.
Classes I and II presented a special assembly featuring a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak on the historic Chipko Movement, a melodious song, and inspiring performances that highlighted the indispensable role of trees in sustaining life. Marking a meaningful conclusion for the Foundational Stage, the celebration included a solemn environmental oath and the distribution of seed packets to every Shishyan, inspiring them to plant and nurture greenery at home.
Adding to the occasion, the Preparatory Stage Shishyans of Classes V C and V D conducted an inspiring class assembly comprising a melodious song, an impactful skit, and a vibrant dance performance, encouraging everyone to embrace environmentally responsible practices.
Through these immersive initiatives, the school reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens dedicated to building a sustainable future.
