July 8 2025
On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, our young Shishyans from Class II joyfully celebrated Van Mahotsav—a festival that honours the beauty and importance of trees. The entire day blossomed with creativity, hands-on learning, and a strong message of environmental care.
As part of the celebration, children received a plain canvas badge, which they transformed into vibrant nature-themed masterpieces at home. Each badge was uniquely decorated with leafy patterns, forest hues, adorable saplings, animal drawings, and symbols of love for nature; each one echoing their appreciation for Mother Earth.
Another exciting highlight of the day was the Seed Ball Project. Shisyans crafted their own seed balls at home using compost, clay, wheat seeds, and water, following a simple and fun recipe. These eco-friendly seed balls were ready to be scattered in the school garden and planters. This thoughtful activity helped students understand how small efforts can make a big difference in greening our planet.
Through these joyful experiences, our students truly embraced the spirit of Vanmahotsav—sowing seeds of hope and creativity while learning to nurture the environment.
Let’s continue to grow together, one tree at a time.
