World Book Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Class II where Shishyans embraced the magic of books and stories. The day was filled with excitement as Shishyans brought books from home to contribute to their classroom library, creating a shared space for exchanging and exploring new reads with their classmates. This initiative not only sparked a love for reading but also encouraged the values of sharing.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the ‘DEAR time’. Shishyans immersed themselves in the world of books, enjoying quiet reading moments that made World Book Day extra special.
To deepen the appreciation for books, students were shown a beautifully designed PowerPoint presentation on ‘book etiquette’.
Alongside Shishyans, the teachers also had their special DEAR time in the school library, selecting and reading books of their choice in a calm, peaceful atmosphere.
The day was filled with meaningful engagement with language and its literary appeal; a truly productive and joyful experience for everyone.
