At the CBSE West Zone Swimming Championships 2026–27, held at Technocrats International School, Bhopal, from July 24–28, 2026, Viha Thakur (XII-C) delivered a spectacular performance in the Girls’ Under-19 category.
Demonstrating remarkable versatility and command across disciplines, Viha emerged Champion in five events, securing Gold in the 50 m, 100 m and 200 m Backstroke, 50 m Freestyle, and 50 m Breaststroke.
Her exceptional consistency across varied strokes and distances reflects refined technique, competitive composure, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. This outstanding five-gold feat has brought considerable distinction to The Shishukunj International School at the zonal level.
