The Shishukunj International School, North Campus hosted the much awaited Yuva Khel Diwas for Nursery to Class V on Saturday, 10 January, 2025-26 on the sprawling grounds of the school.
The event opened with blessings from Goddess Saraswati, followed by inauguration from Director Mr. Manoj Davey. He motivated Shishyans, emphasizing sports’ key role in building strength, discipline, and holistic growth.
After fair trials, competitions suited to age and skill unfolded: field events like Standing Broad Jump and Overhead Throw, Shot Put, Standing Broad Jump, and Long Jump honed balance and power; track races (50m, 100m flat, 100m obstacles, 110m hurdles) showcased speed and agility, and the relay teams fought for a win with seamless teamwork.
Shishyans competed with exuberance displaying true sportsmanship. Winners earned medals that they held onto with pride. Yuva Khel Diwas created lasting memories, amplified by dedicated educators and their lively race.
The day ended with racing hearts, endless chatter and wide smiles.
