Kalash Talati, Shishyan of the Bath of 2028-19 received three gold medals during his M.Sc. Physics course from IIT Kanpur. He was awarded the Director’s Choice Gold Medal, the Professor  Burton J.Moyer  Memorial Gold Medal for Best Academic Performance, and  also the Bhagvatula Project Award for his research project.

Besides his academic achievements , Kalash is also a squash player. He has won trophies  like the Sports performance of the year, Contingent Leader, Academic Mentor and Student Guide.

He was offered a scholarship of ₹50 lakh from the University of California for research, but he chose to pursue his research at TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) Mumbai instead. His project was related to superconductivity and quantum materials. 

Shishukunj is so very proud of the achievements of Kalash. The school alumni continue to hold the Shishukunj flag high, wherever they to.
