The assembly presentation by Classes III C, IV A and V B beautifully celebrated the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi through skits, plays and a dance performance that blended devotion with enduring lessons.
The programme began with a skit on Lord Ganesha’s intelligence, reminding everyone that parents are the greatest source of wisdom and deserve the highest reverence. This was followed by a play on Bal Gangadhar Tilak, depicting how he encouraged people to celebrate Ganesh Utsav publicly in order to unite Indians across diverse communities and kindle the spirit of freedom and nationalism.
The assembly then featured the Ganesh Sthapana, which created a devotional atmosphere and invoked blessings for the day’s proceedings. The students, thereafter, presented a short play on the importance of logic, highlighting how clear reasoning and thoughtful decision-making can help overcome challenges in life.
The presentations continued with a light-hearted play on Tenali Raman, through which the students highlighted the importance of wit and wisdom. The morning drew to a close with a vibrant dance performance that filled the atmosphere with festive joy.
Through these varied performances, the students paid tribute to Lord Ganesha while also conveying timeless values of unity and respect, making this edition of Darpan a memorable celebration of culture and tradition.
