The Inter House Mathematics Quiz for students of Classes IX and XI was successfully conducted on 12 January 2026. Participants were shortlisted through a written screening test comprising questions from the question bank that had been shared earlier with all students, ensuring equal opportunity and thorough preparation.
The quiz featured a variety of engaging rounds such as Coding–Decoding, the Visual Round, and an Activity Round. Each round was thoughtfully designed to encourage students to apply mathematical concepts creatively, sharpen their analytical thinking, and develop smart problem-solving strategies. The Activity Round, in particular, enhanced students’ motor and collaborative skills through hands-on mathematical tasks.
An exciting Audience Round ensured enthusiastic participation from non-contestants as well. Points earned during this round were added to the respective house scores, fostering a strong spirit of teamwork and healthy competition.
The quiz proved to be an enriching and enjoyable learning experience for all. Students were further motivated by the announcement that select questions from the quiz would form a five-mark component of the forthcoming Annual Examination.
