An enlightening talk on Computational Thinking and AI by Mr.Utkarsh Deshpande on 2 May, 2026 inspired educators to explore smarter ways of learning and problem-solving. The session highlighted the four pillars of Computational Thinking — Decomposition, Pattern Recognition, Abstraction, and Algorithmic Thinking — through relatable examples like website creation, weather forecasting, GPS systems, and even tea-making algorithms. Emphasis was laid on how pattern recognition empowers Data Science and AI, while abstraction converts raw data into meaningful real-world applications. Teachers were also guided on integrating CT into classrooms through puzzles, coding, and mathematical pattern mapping.
The session reinforced the importance of digital skills, logical reasoning, and noise filtration in today’s world, making the educators future ready and in sync with the latest CBSE Curriculum.
The session concluded with a powerful message and the major takeaway being “Think Computationally. Solve Intelligently.”
