Encouraging beginners and non-achievers is the responsibility of the society. For various competitions, generally schools tend to send only potential winners with previous winning records. In this case, the children who have not been able to win in the past are neither sent as participants nor motivated for further participation.
With a view to address this very vital issue and to promote and encourage such swimmers, a swimming competition for the non-medalists is conducted by Shishukunj every year. An overwhelming response from various schools has strengthened our belief that such events do make a difference.
We were delighted to welcome over 400 non medalist swimmers in this competition during the session 2025-26.
