Darpan, the special assembly, presented by Classes III A, IV A and V E, celebrated the spirit of Independence Day through song, dance, poetry and engaging skits.

The English skit ‘My Dream India’ traced India’s journey from British rule and the freedom struggle to the vision of a strong and self-reliant nation. The students also highlighted appeals made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and connected the idea of independence with self-reliance and responsible citizenship. Class V E complemented this message with a meaningful poem.

Class III A presented interesting facts about the unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle, honouring their courage and sacrifices. Class IV added humour through ‘Azaad Ki Azaadi’, highlighting the side effects of excessive freedom and reminding everyone that freedom must go hand in hand with responsibility and discipline.

The presentation was enriched by vibrant dance performances by Classes III A and IV A, making it a lively and thought-provoking celebration of India’s freedom and the responsibilities that come with it.
