This poem captures the emotions that almost every student experiences after a major event, such as our MUN.
The noise has stopped, the rush is done,
No more running from one to one.
The big event is over at last,
And life returns to normal, fast.
My room is quiet, my mind feels slow,
Not sure which textbook I need to know.
Back to school and the daily grind,
Leaving all the stress behind.
It’s kind of dull, but nice to breathe,
No endless tasks left up my sleeve.
Just back to my bed and regular day,
Watching the quiet hours slip away.
