forgive for yourself
and so remove the arrow of lamentation-
forgive not because they deserve it,
but because your heart does,
because healing asks for open hands, not clenched fists.
forgiveness is not about erasing what hurt you,
it’s about reclaiming the parts of yourself that got lost in the process.
It’s about having the courage to say, i forgive you because my heart needs to heal.
and when you do this, your heart will heal to the fullest.
