It was an evening of dance, drama and music. Over 700 students of Classes VI – XI enthralled the parents with their performances on the Annual Day, Anugoonj.

The items presented on stage were an  eclectic mix. While the play based  on the life of Bhagat Singh left everyone teary eyed, the  Junior English play, Future of the Past left the audience wondering at the wisdom of pulling down old structures and replacing them with  Malls and modern complexes. The Junior  English play took the audience on a trip around the world to experience and appreciate the diverse cultures and traditions of various countries.

The orchestra Vadyavrinda was a timeless symphony of strings, wind and percussion while the choir was a medley of songs in two different flavours of music : light Indian and western.

The Indian dances, both the Vandana and the Holi kept the audience glued to their seats. The graceful movements of Kathak, the vibrance and colour of Holi was something to be remembered forever.

The western dances :  the New Dawn and Gems of Life were a show ,  not only  of the immense talent but also the immense energy that Shishyans possess.

The vote of thanks based on the poem by Amrita Pritam Main Tenu Phir Milangi expressed deep gratitude to all who had worked tirelessly to make Anugoonj 2022 a success.
