Our former Head Boy, Pranit Gupta, is making a strong entry into the arena of Policy making. As part of the core research team for the All India Congress Committee, Pranit has provided research input and crafted parliamentary interventions and speeches for top Congress leaders, including former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh!

In New Delhi, he is working with Rajya Sabha MP Prof. Rajeev Gowda, who heads the research team, on matters of economic policy for the Indian National Congress. He is also responsible for creating policy briefs on macroeconomic topics for INC’s Members of Parliament (MPs).

Pranit is a Sophomore at the prestigious Dartmouth College in the United States, where he studies economics and international relations on a full scholarship. Through this work experience, Pranit has honed his expertise in the Indian economic policy and made valuable political contacts in the Indian National Congress. Pranit’s brief stint with India’s oldest political party will go a long way in helping him make his own mark in the future.
