In a society, we’ve seen people of different kinds
Who’ll preach us what to do and what not to mind.
We have gossipers who’ll inform you what’s new
But the ones you can believe are only a few.
We have mentors who’ll encourage us to excel always
Yet remind us to never make tall claims.
If we get scolded, we face it together
Be it from professors, authorities or whosoever.
There will be people who’ll teach us to support the suppressed
And help the depressed.
They’ll tell us to chase our dreams and fly,
But vow to assist the ones who cry.
Our day’s incomplete without a prank or a joke
But when offended, what cheers us up better than our folk?
Afterall, our love we show,
For the ones we really care about and know.
We fight, we cry,
We curse, we lie,
We laugh, we play,
And promise to be together, today, tomorrow and every day.
