Shishukunj was proud to host the 02 day  Capacity Building Programme on Social Science for about 60 educators from leading schools of Indore and the surrounding areas.  The resource persons for this CBSE certified workshop were : Mr. Anurag Gupta : Principal Vidyaniket School, Gwalior and Ms. Kusum Singh  from Jaishree Periwal High School, Jaipur.

This workshop focused on the new assessment pattern introduced by CBSE . The educators had several doubts regarding the same, which were very ably cleared by the resource persons. Detailed discussions on how to make the subject more interesting, how to ignite the interest of   the students  in this subject and how to impress upon the students the importance of this subject were held. The educators were also required to make a detailed lesson plan and present it before the group .

The workshop was a good platform for educators of various schools to meet  and brainstorm on various aspects of the subject. The resource persons ensured that the discussions were lively and that everyone was involved.

This interactive and interesting workshop left the educators enriched and armed with newer ways of igniting the interest of students in Social Science. It was a great learning experience for all of them.
