Silence could be ‘heard’ in the portals of Shishukunj on March 29,2023 , as all Shishyans  of Classes VI – XII  along with  the educators , dropped everything and READ a book of their choice for an hour !

This was the second and much awaited D.E.A.R. session in the school and was welcomed by everyone. It was nice for the educators, too, to  pause and take a break and immerse themselves in something not related to the syllabus .

Students and educators could be seen reading books of all genres, be it fiction, fact or motivation !  The purpose of this exercise was to give book lovers time to read a book of their choice in school and to give those who are not,  a taste of the wonderful world of books !
