On 14th February 2026, an assembly presentation themed on social media usage and its impact on children, was presented by the students of Classes III D, IV F and V D. The programme aimed to create awareness about responsible digital behaviour while encouraging students to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. The presentation commenced with an engaging skit portraying children’s growing obsession with social media and its effects, while highlighting the importance of being proactive and mindful in daily life. Another creative skit reimagined Akbar and Birbal in an era of social media, thoughtfully addressing cyber safety, prevention of online scams and the importance of nurturing imagination beyond screens.
A melodious song emphasized the importance of sports and games, reminding students of the value of physical activity at a time when many young learners spend excessive time online. The programme concluded with an energetic dance performance celebrating self-discovery, exploring one’s potential and striving to become the best version of oneself by pursuing diverse interests and hobbies.
Overall, the presentation was engaging, relevant and thought-provoking, encouraging students to use social media responsibly while embracing creativity, balance and holistic development.
