July 31 2025
The Junior Wing students of Classes III and IV participated in a Design Thinking Event held in two phases.
In the first phase held on 31st July, the students were oriented to the idea of design thinking, briefed about the task and divided into teams. Students brainstormed, discussed resources and planned strategies together.
In the second phase held on 21st August, each team created a theme park model using clay and craft materials, incorporating amenities of their choice. The activity encouraged collaboration, empathy and creativity, while making problem-solving real and engaging. The exhibits were imaginative and beautifully presented, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and the joy of learning by doing.
The intent behind planning this event was to nurture in students a design thinking mindset and help them move from ‘what is’ to ‘what could be’. By engaging in hands-on exploration, they were encouraged to think critically, empathise with others and work collaboratively, laying the foundation for becoming innovative problem-solvers.
