The Junior Wing students of Classes III to V celebrated the spirit of Diwali with a diya decoration and lantern-making activity held on October 16, 2025. The activity provided students with an opportunity to express their creativity and experience the joy of preparing for the festival of lights.

Children decorated diyas with vibrant colours, mirrors, and sequins and designed beautiful paper lanterns using eco-friendly materials. The classrooms were filled with enthusiasm and festive cheer as students worked together, sharing ideas and appreciating each other’s creations.

Such activities help nurture aesthetic sense, patience and mindfulness, while also deepening children’s understanding of India’s rich cultural traditions. The sparkling diyas and colourful lanterns symbolised the light of creativity, togetherness and joy that Deepawali brings.
