Shishukunj  successfully conducted the Inter-House Laghu Natak Competition for students of Classes VI to VIII on 4th August 2026 . The event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity, acting skills, stage presence and teamwork through thought-provoking theatrical performances.

Each house presented a captivating 15-minute play on a distinct theme. Kalam House brought history alive through Bharat Ki Amar Gatha, celebrating inspiring personalities and milestones from India’s past. Dhyan Chand House entertained the audience with Kurukshetra 2.0, a humorous reimagining of the Mahabharata in today’s digital world. Devi Ahilya House impressed with Last Date Zindabad, a witty courtroom drama highlighting the consequences of procrastination, while Lata Mangeshkar House presented Bhullakad Nagar Mein Ek Din, a light-hearted comedy filled with amusing situations.

The competition was intensely contested, with every house delivering compelling performances. Students showcased remarkable acting talent through expressive dialogue delivery, convincing character portrayal and confident stage presence, leaving the audience thoroughly engaged throughout the event.

Following the judges’ evaluation, Devi Ahilya House emerged as the Winner, Kalam House secured the Second Position, and Dhyan Chand House claimed the Third Position.

The competition served as a wonderful platform to nurture creativity, teamwork, confidence and an appreciation for theatre, making it an enriching and memorable experience for both the participants and the audience.
