An Inter House Science Quiz for Classes VI – VIII , titled Vigyasa 1.0 – “Vigyan ki Jigyasa” was successfully conducted on 29/01/2026 with the objective of nurturing scientific curiosity, learning, and healthy competition among students. Staying true to its motto, the quiz promoted inquisitiveness and innovative thinking in the field of science.
A total of 72 students from Classes VI to VIII were selected through a screening written test. The quiz consisted of seven well-structured rounds. It began with a Warm-up Round for Class VI students, aimed at breaking the ice and setting the rhythm of the competition. This was followed by a Visual Round with teams of six members from each house.
Next, six students of each house from Classes VII and VIII participated in the Warm-up and Rapid Fire Rounds, testing their speed and scientific knowledge. The Reasoning Round challenged students with analytical questions based on the Class VII and VIII syllabus. In the Demonstration Round, 24 students observed experiments and real-life applications through videos and answered questions based on them.
The Innovation Round was the highlight, where students designed a hydraulic lift using 10–50 ml syringes, applying scientific laws and principles. Before the declaration of results, an Audience Round was conducted, keeping the audience excited and actively involved as they cheered enthusiastically for their respective houses.

With active participation from the participants as well as the audience, the Quiz emerged not just as an Inter House Competition but as a very interesting and enriching learning platform.
