To mark the landmark 47th anniversary of Choitram Hospital, students from Classes XI and XII F embarked on an extraordinary medical journey  on July 18,2026 at the Choitram Hospital and Research Institute, Indore alongside delegates from seven other institutions. Under the masterful guidance of Dr. Sandeep Rathore, our young scholars observed a live “Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy” performed on a 62 year old patient. Mentored step by step by Dr. Siddharth Singh Chauhan and Dr. Neela Ojha, students witnessed clinical precision in real time- from abdominal insufflation using CO2 gas and strategic four-port access -umbilical, epigastric and two right subcostal to thermal electrocautery, inert Titanium clipping  of the cystic duct, and safe endobag extraction of the gallbladder. Organised seamlessly by Mr. Sunil Karma , this rare exposure bridged textbook knowledge with its practical implication.

 Capping off an intellectually enriching day, Ms. Charu Laddha of Class XII F earned the 1st Runner -Up award across all participating schools for her incisive, remarkable questioning during the live interactive procedure, demonstrating the appreciable spirit of her academic curiosity.
