Dhruv Rajoria XII-D, Riddhi Singhania XII-E, Shubh Hakawat XII-D, Vasudha Gupta XII-D, and Vedant Neema XI-E accompanied by Mrs. Pratima Tiwari participated in the Chemistry Popularization Workshop conducted at the Daly College on September 16-17, 2019.

The students were fortunate to get a chance to listen to Dr. Pradeep Shrivastava, Scientoonist, Central Drug Laboratory, Lucknow, Dr. Prabhod Chobey, Sr. Scientist, Mumbai University, Mumbai, and Dr. Brijesh Pare, Sr. Professor, Vikram University, Ujjain.

The students were intrigued especially by the talk on Bionics and “Scientoons” by Dr. Shrivastava. Shishukunj won the First Prize for the Prefect Answer in the Brain Thug Challenge, which was an on-the-spot challenge round. The team also qualified for the Chemistry Quiz in the Preliminary Round. Mrs. Pratima Tiwari impressed the audience in the Teachers’ Chemistry Magic Demonstration Activity. The students also took part in other hands-on activities and asked and answered questions. It was
an educationally enriching experience for all the participants.
