Shishukunj was  fortunate to have Mr. Amrut Deshmukh visit the campus on February 11, 2023.

Famous as the Booklet Guy, Mr. Deshmukh has a one point mission and that is to make India a country of readers.

During his one hour session, he shared his life story and ensured that the students lent him their ears as he narrated one anecdote after another of his reading journey. Quotes from famous books and authors flowed effortlessly during his talk , much to the delight of all the listeners.

We all know that books are our best friends, but no one till now has explained and expressed it so beautifully as Mr. Deshmukh. His talk inspired Shishyans to  pick up a book and read at the very first instance , which actually is the mission of the Booklet Guy.
