It was indeed a day to remember when the Everest Twins – Nungshi and Tashi Malik visited Shishukunj on 07 Dec 2019.

In a programme organized under the aegis of FICCI FLO, Indore Chapter, the Everest Twins spoke for an hour and a half about their journey to the Everest and beyond. Being the first twins to scale the Everest and thereafter also the highest peak in each continent – they threw light on what it takes to be a mountaineer. It has been a tough journey for them that has been possible by the unflinching support of their family.

Their talk was followed by an interactive session in which students freely asked questions ranging from : what they do in their free time, what sacrifices did they have had to make, how tech savvy they are, etc.
On a parting note, they told the students to remember that no task was impossible – it is important to dream big and follow your passion wholeheartedly. With hard work, focus and a never give up attitude , every peak ( goal ) is achievable.
