The school auditorium came alive on August 12, 2025, with creativity, collaboration, and vision as the school hosted Udyam, the eagerly awaited inter-house entrepreneurship competition for students of Classes IX to XII. All four houses enthusiastically participated in the event, which aimed to promote creativity, problem-solving skills, and business acumen. Each house showcased a distinct entrepreneurial endeavor. A committed group of 15 to 20 students represented each house, and they spent weeks researching, honing, and practicing their business pitches.
Dr. Pushpendr Jain , Dean Senior Secondary Education and Ms. Muskan Salgia, an alumni of Shishukunj , who both brought a wealth of experience in strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation, served on the distinguished panel that judged the competition. The projects that were showcased were both inventive and inspirational:
* Devi Ahilya House addressed the urgent need for climate accountability through a transparent carbon credit grading platform.
* Dhyanchand House turned pollution into potential by creating carbon-based eco-friendly bricks from urban waste.
* Kalam House tackled the often-overlooked issue of migraines, presenting a thoughtful solution to ease silent suffering.
* Lata Mangeshkar House offered a sustainable, biodegradable alternative to plastic, harnessing the regenerative potential of fungi.
The judges praised the students for their thorough research, lucid presentation, and viability of their ideas. Each team showed dedication, ingenuity, and confidence in everything from product and service conception to marketing strategy development and polished pitch preparation.
