October 25, 2020 was a memorable day for the Shishukunj family as they
inaugurated the new sports complex, Arjuna, in the august presence of Padma Shri
and Khel Ratna awardee, Dr. Deepa Malik. Built as an extension to the exquisite
sports complex Eklavya, the new complex Arjuna spans across 35,000 sq. ft and
includes a wrestling arena, gymnastics and Malkham, 4 badminton courts, 2 indoor
cricket practice nets, 5 table tennis tables, 2 tennis courts, , basket ball court for
juniors, a chess room, sports science lab and more. With Eklavya and Arjuna at
their disposal, we can already envision our dear Shishyans reaching great heights
and acquiring splendid awards and honours in the rewarding field of Sports.
Chief Guest, Dr. Malik unveiled the latest edition of our magazine, the Sports Setu,
which chronicles the achievements of the sports stars at school. The programme
concluded with the Blessing Ceremony of our Swimming Coach and Vishwanitra
awardee Mr. Abhilash MT, Vikram award recipient Mast. Advait Page and Eklavya
Award recipient Mast. Param Birthare. The momentous day will be remembered at
Shishukunj for eternity.
