To be confident is an art one must harness
And not a skill to be born with
It’s a power one must attain
By having a doctrine, easy as pie!
Are your nails painted?
Is your hair in place?
How do you stride in heels?
Do you look graceful enough?
These things don’t matter
Just sparkle a smile!
The only accessory to wear is CONFIDENCE
Put your opinion forward
Occur injustice, never shall on your watch
Right the wrongs
Don’t just sit, speak up!
Feel those shivers run down your spine
Gaze upon those yearns of running away
And then tell yourself
“I’ll own it, how hard can it be?”
Love yourself just the way you are
You’re a unique individual, an exotic flower
What are you ashamed of, what makes you so scared?
Step right up and just be YOU.
