BULLYING
Shishukunj follows a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bullying. Bullying in any form—whether physical, emotional, verbal, or mental—is unacceptable and goes directly against the values of respect, kindness, and empathy that the school upholds. Any student found engaging in such behaviour will face immediate and strict disciplinary action.
Bullying is not just a harmless act, it causes deep and lasting harm. For the student who is bullied, it can lead to fear, anxiety, loss of confidence, and even long-term emotional scars.
However, it is equally important to understand that bullying harms the bully as well. Students who engage in bullying often develop negative behavioural patterns. Bullying may give a momentary sense of control, but it ultimately weakens character, empathy, and emotional growth.
The school strives to be a place where every student feels safe, valued, and respected. Students are informed that if they ever witness bullying or experience it themselves, they should reach out to the Principal / Vice Principal or the school counsellor. They may also leave a note in the complaint boxes placed on each floor or ask their parents to send an email to the school email id.
We would like to remind the students : reporting is not complaining—it is taking responsibility and helping build a healthier school environment.
Let us all work together to create a community where kindness is a habit, respect is a norm, and bullying has no place at all.
