Isn’t Life Fascinating?

Look at the bright side of things,
even if it’s hard,
You only live once,
Don’t forget to wisely play your part;

There’s always sunshine, even in the darkest of days,
Stay happy and content even if you get a small amount of pay;

How do you expect to enjoy your life,
where everything is just dark names?
Let me break it to you, it isn’t,
it is just your mind playing games;

Like the Sun, like the Moon,
who despite it all, still keep shining.
Never leave that shine of yours,
always keep smiling;

Life might seem complicated at times,
but always remember,
you’ll always have yourself as your best friend,
Isn’t that exciting?

Always keep exploring, learning and participating,
Whatever life throws at you,
Wake up with a smile on your face and look forward to the day
Isn’t life fascinating?

The Great Historical Empire

Literarily immaculate, archaeologically exquisite,
Preserved by lords with perseverance and grit,
Be it battle scars or Ashwamedha,
Or may it be Harsh-Charita of Banabhatta,
Be it destroyed by a person perfidious,
It stood up again by one not duplicitous.
It is the Great Historical Empire,
Praised by boons of Earth and Fire.
Be it archaeological or literary,
It is placed in minds, stationary.
It is the Great Historical Empire,
Still containing knowledge lit as pyre.

The Great Paralympians

Courageously did they tire out their bones,
But kept working with their nose to the grindstone.
Not a single percent of fright,
Did they tend to show in the hardest of plights.
Not for a single moment did they desire haven,
For their courage had to be seriously taken.
The Great Paralympians as they are,
Registered in minds like a star.
It so did not depend on demeanour,
For their spirit lies deep within forever.
Bit by a shark, fallen from a prow,
They never ceased working by the sweat of their brow.
The Great Paralympians as they are,
Their target is difficult but never far.

Blue

Blue is our sky
and the spring day when you play outside even when you lie
Blue tastes like delicious blueberries
Blue smells like a flower with cherries
Blue sounds like peace and independence
Blue looks like regular attendance
Blue makes me happy when I am alone
and drowns the loneliness as if it had flown.

The Bliss of Nature

Dear Nature, you are so forgiving
We hurt you but
You still help us make a living.

You are so beautiful
You are so merciful
We may take you for granted
But you make our lives cheerful.

Dear nature you are so forgiving
We hurt you but
You still help us make a living.

You help us thrive
You are the reason we breathe,
I hope I can take care of you
That’s what I will achieve.

My Greatest Fear

Scary thoughts make me tremble
Make me shiver, make me fumble
The word, I despise is called fear
Known well to bring many a tear

Failure is my greatest terror
Makes me think their lives are fairer
Listen you must and remember you may
This little trick shall save the day

Look at fear, make it clear
Better know, strength is near
Stare and fight, make it shred
Keep climbing out of the dread

Greed

The quality that brings us down,
Which also makes others frown.
It means wanting bigger stuff that you don’t own,
By imagining the big stuff, that is shown.

The quality that instantly needs to be removed
If you want your moral character definitely improved.
Sadly the changes made can’t be quick,
But we have to, out of our head, give it a kick.

This quality can turn friendships into enmity,
And in relationships, lower their density.
That is why one should be humble with others,
To make them see in life, more and more colours.

Scary Thoughts

The scary thoughts make me tremble
Make me shiver, make me fumble
The word, I despise is called fear
Known well to bring many a tear

Failure is my greatest terror
Makes me think their lives are fairer
Listen you must and remember you may

Keep climbing out of the dread.

World War II

Think this pandemic is the most difficult time ever?
What I am gonna say is remember it forever.
The worst was the World War two,
But that pain too, we certainly outgrew.

I still live it, couldn’t forget it,
They couldn’t make any noise at night.
With only silence to accompany them,
No flowers, no trees- not even a game.

We now can make noises, play and talk,
They couldn’t even go for a walk.
It lasted for about 6 years,
With every Jew’s eyes having tears.

Just think for a time where shooting is going outside,
Where it’s dark and everyone needs to hide.
Where you can’t even cough,
You now may believe that it was too tough.

So, today, if you ask why me
Stop for a moment to think, to see
Thank God even for today’s condition,
It still is a manageable situation.

Night Time

The time opposite to day,
When people, on beds, their bodies lay.
The most relaxing time is night,
Because there is comfort, with minimal light.

Night time is when arises the moon,
Ya! That place where we want to go soon!
We sleep but wake in our dreams,
Where we witness the shiny light beams.

Stars also are visible to our naked eyes,
Which look like individual grains of rice.
Except dogs, there is no disturbance,
Only sleep is the thing that we sense.

At this time, one should get a proper sleep,
And to seek goals in our dreams, we should leap.
And then when the stars and moon, away huddle,
We see the sun and the clouds scuddle.
