Rooted in Values, Empowered to Fly
“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think and the courage to fly.”
Education, in its truest sense, is the art of giving children both strong roots and confident wings. Roots ground them in values, culture, discipline, and character; wings equip them with knowledge, skills, courage, and imagination to explore the world and shape the future with purpose…

SIS NC MUN 2026: Celebrating Leadership and Legacy
The concluding day of the Fourth Edition of SIS NC Model United Nations 2026 on July 25, 2026 marked the culmination of two days of spirited debate, collaboration, and global citizenship. Classrooms became conference rooms, corridors turned into discussion hubs, and every corner resonated with the energy of delegates working together, sometimes agreeing, often debating, but always learning.
Committees concluded with resolutions that reflected rigorous research, respectful dialogue, and a commitment to consensus. The diversity of topics ensured that both first-time delegates and seasoned MUN veterans honed their skills in public speaking, negotiation, and teamwork.
The Closing Ceremony was dignified and celebratory, featuring award presentations to delegates, Bureau members, and Secretariat teams, along with commendations by the Executive Board. In her gracious address, Vice Principal Ms. Pallavi Sukhtankar applauded the dedication and brilliance of the delegates, reminding them that “the future depends on what you do today.” Heartfelt reflections by the MUN Coordinators added warmth to the proceedings, highlighting the perseverance and teamwork behind the success of the conference.
The ceremony also included a closing video, the symbolic presentation of the gavel to Principal Mrs. Aparna Magee, and final words from the Director General and Secretary General declaring the conference closed. A vote of thanks and the National Anthem brought the event to a dignified conclusion.
As the conference drew to a close, the theme “Novaris Continuum: Beyond Today, Towards Tomorrow” found resonance in Eleanor Roosevelt’s reminder that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. SIS NC MUN 2026 stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing thoughtful, empathetic, and globally conscious leaders.
