Fear

Fear
A feeling of chill down my spine
When I look at the old house covered with vines
Stories spread that something suspicious resides there
Because someone coming back from that house is rare
Even if they do return
Their health is a concern

Stories claim, once an old man lived there all alone
And he made the house his private zone
On a no moon night he died
But his death is still not justified
If someone enters the house on being curious
That made the mysteries inside the house furious

This is something in which my scientific mind does not believe
And for me it seems to be a conspiracy
But I still get an awkward feeling when I go near
And this is what I call fear.

Exam
I don’t know why I hate exam
Even after studying hard the result makes me scram
It is a period of prolonged tension
That requires your excessive attention
It is a thing that all students face
In the Indian society, it is classified as a race

I don’t know why I hate exam
I feel that it is totally a scam
With education based on rote learning
Which doesn’t provide you good earning
Every year 30% engineers are unemployed
Hence their life becomes totally annoyed

I don’t know why I hate exam
It’s too difficult for me to grasp
For it is too boring
And always gets me snoring
Education system has to go a long way
It cannot be changed in a single day

MSD
Who changed the match staying behind the stumps?
Who caught the ball with his long jumps?
Whose decision is most authentic?
Whose helicopter shot is aesthetic?

Who is known as the best finisher?
Who has a marvelous signature?
Who always promoted young talent?
Whose mind is always balanced?

Who is known as captain cool?
If he is the principal, cricket is a school
This is how he has always been
Winning a game is in his genes.

Growing Older
From crying loudly for pity,
To crying silently,
We grew up.
From being idiotic,
To being demonic,
We grew up.

From getting excited about our birthday,
To treating it as a normal day,
We grew up.
From just speaking,
To just listening,
We grew up.

From walking away from our problems,
To facing them,
We grew up.
From crying in harsh times,
To enjoying them,
We grew up.

From arguing with elders,
To adjusting according to them,
We grew up.
From day-dreaming,
To fulfilling those aspirations,
We grew up.

Gaming
Prejudices about gaming are wrong
Impact of it on mind is strong
It can benefit your mind, heart and spirit,
If done in an appropriate limit

Excess of anything is chaotic
Gaming is also hypnotic
Hence should be done within boundaries
Or it has some serious injuries

May the game be physical or virtual
Lessons learnt are very special
May it be teamwork, analysis or decision making,
These can’t be learnt via hearing

Games provide you a break from your routine
So your extra stress is clean
They increase your persistence and aim
This is what I call a game!

Teachers
They are the kings of the class
By their say-so, anything can pass
They push us to attain knowledge
May it be tuition, school or college
They are like magicians
They always take the right decision
They are our guiding spirit
Their qualities we inherit
Having one is a blessing
Never fear their addressing
All the students should do is be grateful
Because having no teacher is painful.

Freedom

Birds have the right to be free
Along with the breeze goes the tree
Tiny little drops come with rain
The rivers are free, flowing from the mountains
And the shiny moonlight
All that is marvelously maintained,
With no rest
Freedom is just to gain.

We humans also can be free
Yet we say yippee
Put a calm to your brain
Don’t take pain
We are free from here to Jupiter’s orbit
Freedom is just a chain
Take good care of it
So, it’s a must to say
Freedom is just to gain.

My Dad’s Water Bottle

Whenever I pass by my dad smiling,
He smiles back at me and says, “Look at that.”
‘Look at that’ brings up a lot of questions,
But without any positive suggestions.
Oh! Wow, it’s my dad’s water bottle.
This means I have to rush to the kitchen at full throttle.
After filling his bottle with water,
He gulps it all and asks, “Can I have more water?”
This is the story of my life.
I call my mother, whom he calls his wife,
I urge her to buy daddy a 10 litre bottle.
She replies with a laugh, “It seems, you are my role model!”

Starry Night

Starry Night
A never-ending black page
with tiny stars shining with rage.
A sphere with different shapes
which can’t escape.
A starry night with some bright light.
This is a dream of every child
Shooting stars roaming here and there,
and kids making wishes with prayers.
Counting the never-ending stars,
makes me think of some chocolate bars.
Thanks to God for the wonderful night,
but the thoughts in my mind make me write.

Books
English, French, Hindi, and Spanish
all types of books are there.
Every book is a pattern of thoughts,
Whenever I buy one more, I get caught.

Reading books feels like heaven but
putting them in order sounds like a
punishment.

Whenever a writer sets down a book,
everybody loves to read it even sitting in a nook.

Painting your thoughts into words is a great skill
if you try you may get wings.

Albert Einstein made me shine
An eternal remembrance of a man
whom we still call a genius gem.
The man who made the formula E=mc2.
Which made the scientists aware, energy is everywhere.
This is Albert Einstein
Who made people believe they might shine.
The man known for his knowledge
gave people inspiration to go to college.
The world-renowned man
never lets people keep down their pens.
This is Albert Einstein
who made people believe they might shine.

Integers
A minus sign that makes your
value less in line.
The sign that is opposite of his friends
and is never the dividend.
Zero is its best friend
and is always on the left end.
These are integers
And are totally different from others.
Minus and minus make a plus
but before solving you must discuss.
A batch of negative numbers
trying to get greater and
toddlers learning them from stickers.
These are integers
and are totally different from others.

Colours
Yellow, red, orange and green
all these colours are bright and clean.
Together they make a masterpiece.
It’s my pleasure to make it in peace.

In the morning sitting outside in front
of the giant sun, I jump onto the stool
with one paint brush in my left hand
and another in my right.

It’s my dream to see the nature’s beauty
as a painting with lots of creativity.
Picasso is my best friend and my paintings
Are my family.

My drawers are full of sketchbooks
but my heart is full of colours.
Every evening when I paint a masterpiece,
It gives everybody a smile of cheese.
Every day I get perfection by the grace of God, and I paint a painting
as beautiful as the book of God.

Doodles
One creature standing upon another.
One is the child and the second the mother.
Monsters trying to eat creatures
and hiders hiding from seekers.
These are known as doodles and
are as good looking as noodles.
These black and white creatures are
Sometimes quite colourful and are very loveable.
Lines going from left to right,
are sometimes very light.
Some are naughty,
Some are nice,
Some are giant
some are puny.
These are known as doodles and
are as good looking as noodles.

Imperfection

Is it me or does everyone think that they are perfect?
Is my hair intact and my shoes in place,
My dress pressed and jeans looking great?
If yes then this is great and if not then I am not confident
But no one is perfect and that is how we are made
And so god has made a rule
Every animal has to be the prey one day
Every human will have problems to face and
That is a sign that we are imperfect.

My little Sister

My sister is the best,
She likes to take rest.
She’s a cutie with a lot of beauty,
She is a piece of my heart,
A part of my life.

Even though I am elder,
We’ll always be best friends.
Her smile is full of glory,
She’s very naughty.

She’s so small,
That she can’t even crawl.
I love to be with her,
All my troubles run away,
She’s the loveliest sister in the world.

She’s so soft to cuddle,
With her I love to snuggle,
She fills me to the brim with joy,
And she sometimes also annoys.

I know, most of the time,
It’ll be me versus you.
We’ll always argue.
But, I will always be there for you!!

Butterfly

Butterfly
When I see a butterfly
I wonder where it came from
From the chamber of Independence to pond of hard work
Every step she takes is of bravery
Every breath it takes can be the last
But still she stands tall with beauty and grace
But she still forges ahead towards the void of emptiness
But she still keeps hope for a sweeter flower tomorrow.

Carefree
I see outside my window an eagle soaring by
With all its charm and glamour
And the
Darkness within its conscience
With its duplicitous personality
And the
Demon within its soul
It sours high in the sky
Without a care
Of those who despise them anymore

My Mother

Your cry breaks my heart,
Your smile makes my day.
Your sadness gives me disappointment,
Your laughter leads my way.

This is whom I am talking about,
Yes, my mother from heaven.
She is multi talented,
And works 24 / 7.

She scolds me for good,
She loves me to infinity.
She knows every recipe I like,
She provides me with every basic amenity.

I act like I don’t care,
But I do.
Nobody loves her as much as I love her,
Without giving her any clue.

Travel: Into the Unknown

A travel blogger is what I want to be
I like to write and read and travel
And so I think it’s best for me
Travelling round the world
All ready to explore and see
So many things to feel and to do
Just think what fun it would be
Discovering different cultures,
Exploring new destinations
Sharing your feeling and experience
With everybody who wants to see
I make memories galore
Making my brain think
Oh, this job is just so good
It lures me on every time I try to resist!
