If I Had All The Time In The World

It is rightfully said, “Time and tide wait for none”
That’s why I say, “Live to the fullest, and dazzle your life with fun”
And if all the time in the world were in my possession suddenly
“It must be a dream”, I’d say to the inner me
IF I HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD,
KEYS TO THE LOCKS OF LIMITATIONS I WOULD’VE EARNED

If this really happened, it’d be magical, a dream come true
Answers to mysteries would come, like ‘Why is the sky blue?’
My timetable and routine would be flying all over the place I’d say to the judges, “No need to time the race.”
IF I HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD,
A HOLE THROUGH MY ROUTINE I WOULD’VE BURNED

But this possession of mine could also give unfortunate results
For instance, of extreme laziness I would experience bursts
I would also very well lose track of my time
For hours on end, I’d just be counting a few dimes!
IF I HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD,
I MIGHT’VE WASTED IT GAZING AT SMALL, SILLY BIRDS

Having all of the time of the world would be great as well
The pros of which, for you, I shall spell
I could use it for indeed a very good reason
To spend more time with my cousins in the summer season
IF I HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD,
MY TIME FOR ENJOYMENT WOULD BE TREBLED

As I brusquely nibble away at my toast
And my mom puts food into the oven to roast
I realize that all this should rather remain only a fantasy
As it would, undoubtedly, plague the minds of those who wish to imagine it in reality
IF I HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD,
I’D LEARN TO VALUE IT MORE THAN AN EMERALD

On a final note, I wish to say
Time is precious, at all costs, you mustn’t waste it away
For the darkness of failure would shake you down and make you pay
After which in your eyes only despair shall sway
IF I HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, I’D REFUSE TO KEEP IT, FOR IT WOULD MAKE MY LIFE TROUBLED

The Plea to be Free

Hear the cries of the animals

They need your help,

But instead of helping them,

People are busy counting their wealth.

“You were a prisoner too

How did you feel then?”

Asks the lion of the zoo,

“Didn’t the women cry then

When British imprisoned their men?”

I have the right to stay free

Says the bird with her mate

Everyone has the right to freedom

Doesn’t that your constitution state?

‘Tigers are dying of poaching’

You learn that about me,

But you keep buying our parts

Instead of making us free!

Hear the cries of the animals

Say all the animals of the zoo

We all want to be free

Under the spectacular shades of blue.

Please don’t destroy on habitats

By building houses and malls

We plead to you with us our might

Listen to our protesting calls.

Light and Shadow

Light and shadow playing hide and seek,

Among rippling waters, grassy banks

And the Mango tree.

Bring to mind those bygone moments,

Of tugging pigtails and billowing skirts,

of the everlasting love,

Light and Shadow playing hide and seek,

In the parting of four friends.

Light and Shadow playing hide and seek,

Bring to mind those lazy afternoons,

Of graduating from Enid Blytons, of waking in the morning with a longing heart

Never imagining of our emotions breaking apart, as the bleak wind blows,

Life seems without its glow

Light and Shadow playing hide and seek

In the parting of four friends.

Light and Shadow playing hide and seek,

Among the momentary bliss

The four friends feel.

Bring to mind those precious moments,

Of whispers and giggles, true friendship turned into sour antagonism

Light and Shadow playing hide and seek,

In the parting of four friends

When He Fell

Dark clouds rose,

From the now barren land,

Enveloping all those present,

Turning everything to shadows.

War machines and armed men,

Trod the battlefield,

A scene, feared by all humanity,

Had taken a visible form.

A man rose on one side,

While one fell on the other,

Both of them knew,

The result of the scene.

A cry rose within,

The one who had stood,

For the one who had fallen,

Whose soul had already left.

Who says a soldier can’t cry,

Because a deep buried clause,

From his soul had risen again,

Pouring all what was filled in.

A solitary tear trickled down,

To mouth chanting for mercy,

From the Almighty, the Supreme,

For what he had done.

A creek became a waterfall,

Washing down his face,

Down to mix with,

The earth’s soft soil.

We yearn for peace,

To live in harmony,

And we only fight,

Claiming to restore peace.

Whom we proclaim,

As family and brethren,

Are the countries,

Which we fight against.

All these sins,

Are taken by soldiers,

Who fight for their country,

In the name of peace, unachieved.

All these thoughts ran,

In his mind,

All understood by a soldier,

But not by the leaders.

A cold metal piece,

Entered his heart,

As he fell on his knees,

A smile grew on his face.

He thanked the Almighty,

For calling him above,

He knew he deserved it,

Because he had killed a brother.

Monsoon

The pitter-patter the rain

Is always just about the same

But never does it get too old

To make us smile so bright and bold.

The hippity-hop of the frogs

Messily jumping about in bogs

Crossing the tracks of people on jogs

Getting surrounded by children like mobs.

The greenery around us; so nice and so cool

The beautiful lilies ignored only by fools

the happy butterflies, the famished critters

Eating away at leaves like they are fritters.

From waterfalls to mountains to lakes and to dew

Everything is a wonder and monsoon is too!

If I Were Harry Potter

If I were Harry

I would be like Jerry

I could perform infinite charms

But would never try to harm

I would be friends with Hermione and Ron

And could swim like a swan.

I could be the best at my school

Just like Mrs Mary at the Moon

I’d wish I never met Voldemort

And could have lived in a fort

I’d really miss my mom and dad

Since they died in the attack

I’d not hate the muggles

Even if they’re like my uncles

I could be the most famous in the magical world

As I would be the boy who deserved.

I’d love my life any how

Even though the Dursleys would think I am a foolish cow.

Black

What is black?

A colour or absence of colour?

I am BLACK. I love my darkness in the night. I am the essence of art,

The one who brings all colours together and not tear them apart.

I am in the black hole as it says and polished shoes of children and businessmen.

I am the colour to be handled with care as I am present in the universe everywhere.

In the eyeballs it’s I who’s there, allowing all to see the world out there.

One might wonder at the arrival of beauty and gladness of the sun

Shining bright due to my calmness at night.

I am the fear present in a dark room,

I am the smoke of a burning fire,

I am the worst thing that can ever happen,

I am a mystery and symbolize the depth of life.

I am BLACK, the colour of life.

Blue

Hello! I am the colour Blue,

Present in ocean, sea and rivers too!

I am present in the sky,

Where many birds fly.

I am one of the colours of vibgyor,

And a part of colour therapy by which people are cured.

I am liked by people of all age,

And increase everyone’s courage.

I am the symbol representing calmness and positivity,

People wear me to show their peacefulness and creativity.

The Power of Nature

Power of Nature is the mightiest power

It could break a building or even a tower.

By the nature sometimes it rains

Even the earthquake which causes heavy pains.

The nature also causes natural disasters

No one could stop them be it champions or masters.

The nature also causes heavy storms

Of course the nature becomes angry when we break its norms

At times it floods or at times it rains in showers.

Besides this the nature has unlimited powers

The nature can cause destruction to any creature.

This is a brief description of the Power of Nature.
